I purchased another pair of CX64's back in Oct 2007 to compliment the pair I already have, and everything worked great...for a while. Recently, while listening a bit closer at moderate levels I noticed a popping sound from one mid. I felt around the surround and detected an air leak so I tried to glue the surround back down to the basket with success. While I stopped the leak, the speaker still pops at moderate levels. The other 3 mids are just fine and play well at higher levels.

I saw the video on how to clean the speaker's gap, but that didn't resolve the problem. I un-installed the speaker and played it again, where it made the same sound at about the same listening level as installed.

Can anyone advise me on any options?
